Founded in March 2023, DO NOT DISTURB started as an events brand dedicated to niche, new-school R&B nights in Manchester. By 2024, it had evolved into a full-scale live events platform, featuring both DJs and performing artists, all centred around the new-school R&B experience.

DO NOT DISTURB (DND)events continue to grow, and this website serves as the home for everything DND, from event announcements to ticket sales to exclusive apparel and clothing drops.

In 2025, DND expanded into clothing, creating our first, original, oversized, streetwear-inspired hoodies that blends comfort with effortless style. Aimed at young streetwear lovers looking for a comfy, stylish, easy to wear option both premium in quality and reflective of individuality.

My name is Shaun Cardin AKA DJ Cardin, I am a DJ at heart and a marketer by profession. Originally from Birmingham UK and now based in Manchester UK, I created DND to bring people together through the music we often only get to enjoy in private and the culture that surrounds it.

These days, many of us live on do not disturb, seeking an escape from the noise. DND events offer that rare space to disconnect, and the clothing brand was created to further express that message of escapism.

Do Not Disturb is more than just events and fashion, it’s a lifestyle, a mood, a relatable reality.
